Mission Statement

The primary purpose of the “Holy Saints of Calvary Apostolic Church” is to glorify God, who is the creator of all things, that we are tasked by the Great Commission to spread His infallible word, in teaching others to follow and give Him praise for his glory and honor. We glorify God, the father, through His son, Jesus Christ, whom he appointed Lord over all things. For in Him dwells all that is righteous and true.

It is our true belief that along with individual private worship and prayer, that public worship is also an essential part of obedience and devotion to God in spirit and in truth. That through public worship, the opportunity is given for believers in Christ, to gather together and worship in the house of the Lord. The symbolic expressions of public worship includes but not limited to: reverence, acts of confession, communion, obedience, praise and petitioning through prayer.

Reverence is the unconscious obedience of the heart to offer honorable worship, the giving of one's self to praise and glorify God. That in public worship, we are acknowledging, where there are 2 or 3 or more gathered, the presence of the Holy Spirit abides within us and the worship service offered. We believe that the Holy Spirit anoints all those who participate in expressing love, praises and glorification to God during service.

We further believe that the Holy Spirit anoints in abundance to the minister because he is appointed by God to declare His word. Through the ministers teaching, the Holy Spirit convicts sinners of their iniquities; bringing them to a point of repentance; allowing those sinners, even lost believers to receive the fullness of truth of the gospel message, that all scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness according to the meaning of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

When you repent publicly through confession of sins, and be given a water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, from within the heart the gift of the Holy Spirit is received. The Holy Spirit gives the believer empowerment to live an obedient, righteous and Godly life. That one day through discipleship and continued edification of His Holy Word, they too will receive the calling of God to be a disciple in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit also instructs us, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead" and that it is profitable for us to live a Godly life in this world so we will be better prepared for the eternal world which is to come.

Practicing good works through faith is an essential part of a believer if they are to draw unbelievers to Jesus Christ as they have done. Furthermore, through ministry, we provide spiritual, moral and financial support for the poor; visit, bring the gospel and pray for the sick, to those in prison; and offer counseling to help those afflicted by broken relationships and troubled lives.

It is our mission to build up our families, communities, and society in general which are all in need of spiritual and moral guidance. In order to meet the needs and demands of our mission we have formed special ministries, and support committees. We believe that through prayer and supplication, God's grace is sufficient to handle our needs and concerns. We believe in the promises and blessings that is assured to us in Christ Jesus, who always gives victory through perseverance of His disciples, causing us to triumph over defeat.
